Windfalls
Two young women confronted by the same hard choice make decisions that send their lives in dramatically different directions. Nearly twenty years later, they discover how much they actually have in common.

Into the Forest
Set in northern California in the near-future, Into the Forest speculates about what might happen when our unsustainable civilization finally collapses—and examines what matters most right now.

The Life Within: Celebration of a Pregnancy
The Life Within examines—and celebrates—the experience of pregnancy through three different lenses—scientific, cross-cultural, and personal.

Windfalls was published in England by Random House UK and in Germany by Kruger Verlag. The Midwest Book Review calls Windfalls “a profound look at motherhood,” and Publishers Weekly says it is “a good prospect for reading groups.”

Into the Forest has been translated into a dozen languages, and is frequently taught in college courses and read by book groups. It was selected by College of the Redwoods to be its Book of the Year for 1999-2000 and by Bowling Green State University to be its First Year Experience book for 2001.  Based on the 2001 success, Bowling Green State University has chosen Into the Forest to be the First Year Experience book again for 2006.  Firelands College in Huron, Ohio has also chosen Into the Forest to be its All College Book for fall, 2006

The Life Within is a favorite of midwives and doulas, and is frequently given as a special gift to parents and parents-to-be.
